WINNING RUNS
WIGAN WARRIORS have won five successive matches, all in the Engage Super League. Their last and only defeat this season was 22-20 at Bradford Bulls on 5 March.
FEATHERSTONE ROVERS have won eight successive matches, consisting of all five Co-operative Championship matches, two Northern Rail Cup and a Carnegie Challenge Cup-tie. Their last and only defeat this season was 36-6 at Leigh Centurions in the Northern Rail Cup on February 14.
LEIGH CENTURIONS have gone nine successive matches without defeat, including a 20-20 home draw against Barrow Raiders in the Co-operative Championship on February 25. They have won their last seven Cup and League matches. Their last and only defeat this season was 13-12 at York City Knights in the Northern Rail Cup on February 7.
BLACKPOOL PANTHERS have won a club record seven successive matches, including all four Co-operative Championship One matches. Their last defeat was 34-8 at Barrow Raiders in the Northern Rail Cup on February 7. Blackpool’s previous best winning run was four last year.
OLDHAM have won five successive matches, including all four Co-operative Championship One matches plus a Carnegie Challenge Cup-tie. Their last defeat was 24-22 at home to Sheffield Eagles in the Northern Rail Cup on February 22.
LOSING RUNS
HARLEQUINS RL have lost six successive matches, all in the Engage Super League. Their last and only win this season was 16-4 at home to Catalans Dragons on February 14.
LONDON SKOLARS have lost 22 successive matches, including all 11 this season. Their last win was 24-18 at Workington Town on May 17, 2009.
DEWSBURY RAMS have lost five successive matches, all in the Co-operative Championship. Their last win was 42-10 at home to amateurs Drighlington in the Carnegie Challenge Cup third round. They have lost all six Championship matches.
MILESTONES
LEE BRIERS of Warrington Wolves needs two tries for a career century of Super League touchdowns (not including play-offs). All of the half-back’s 98 tries have been scored for Warrington, having played three times in Super League for St Helens without scoring.
PAUL SYKES of Bradford Bulls needs 19 points for a career total of 1,000. The utility back has scored 772 points for London Broncos/Harlequins RL, 169 Bradford plus 40 in representative matches, including a try for Great Britain.
