Three other games took place tonight in Super League.
Hull were victorious over Bradford Bulls - 18-6. Lee Radford and Jordan Tansey (2) grabbed tries for the hosts with Danny Tickle adding three goals. The Bulls again came up short with only a Stuart Reardon try and Paul Sykes penalty to show for their efforts.
Hull Kingston Rovers made history with their first win at Headingley since 1985. A rock solid defence was the foundation for Justin Morgan's side who scored first half tries by Shaun Briscoe, Peter Fox and Liam Colbon. Michael Dobson added two goals and an all important second half drop goal while all Leeds could respond with were tries from Keith Senior and Jamie Jones Buchanan while Rob Burrow kicked a goal in the Rhinos 10-17 defeat.
A pulsating game at St Helens saw the hosts establish a 12-4 half-time lead over Warrington before a second half revival brought the Wolves right back into the contest. Kyle Eastmond and Jon Wilkin scored tries for the Saints in that first half with Simon Grix responding after half an hour. Saints scored again after 46 minutes through Adie Gardner with Eastmond converting and adding a penalty. At 20-4 the game looked sewn up before Warrington roared bck with tries from Matt King, Ben Harrison and Chris Hicks, but crucially only one goal came from the boot of Chris Bridge. Gardner then scored his second try of the night after 65 minutes before Eastmond finished another good night for him with the conversion and a late penalty to ensure a 28-18 win for the Saints.
